Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. Below are answers to some common questions to help you feel more comfortable starting your healing journey.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. Tiffany will ask questions about your experiences, goals for therapy, and what brought you to seek support at this time.
There is no pressure to share everything at once. The goal of the first session is to establish a safe and supportive foundation where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and experiences.

Therapy here centers respect for identity, lived experiences, and the unique challenges that may arise around relationships, family dynamics, community, and self-acceptance.
Yes. Sessions are offered through secure telehealth video appointments so you can attend therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes.
Longer sessions may be available depending on clinical needs.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and support. As progress continues, sessions may transition to biweekly or monthly depending on your goals and needs.
Session fees and payment options will be discussed during the consultation process.
Some clients choose to pay privately while others may use insurance depending on coverage and availability.
Insurance options may vary. If you plan to use insurance, we can discuss available options and verify benefits prior to your first appointment.

Yes. Therapy sessions are confidential and protected by privacy laws.
There are a few legal exceptions to confidentiality, such as situations involving immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, or cases involving abuse that must be reported. These policies will be reviewed with you during your intake process.
